    Better than a front diff that binds a ton though, a locker in the front is a very occasional use item, if it was always fighting like a clutch diff you'd hate ever using 4wd

    Don’t think 4.56s are a good option for either of my trucks. Plan is to run 32s on my 04 (A340F/3.4) and retain front mudflaps and fender flares with zero cutting.

    Flatbed is going to stick with 33-33.5” tires and 4.56s (R150F/3.4) would make highway driving it awfully painful.

    Both are running 4.10s currently. So the 4.56 front sits there on a shelf judging me.

    I don't know what size you'd run with a 7 in wide rim. But I do know that a 35/12.5/15 is an available size

    You offer solid advice, often, to everyone, but this is Dan.

    He doesn't need lockers cause everything's flat out there :rofl:

    Imagine spending $3,000 in fresh differentials for a vehicle that's going to be rotten after a winter

    I've got a Corolla for that, it's like an adult size bumper car. And on the really bad days the Land Cruiser gets snow duty

    @Speedytech7

    I know the splines are cut deeper on factory locked diff versus open but...are these cut deep enough to work on both?

    Or...are they even the right length/spline count for 80 series?

    I'm not sure what these are for, they're drilled for eight studs. Toyota hubs are 6 stud.

    That's how I got my truck at "half price" this was 3+yrs ago now but original ad said 4k and I talked him down to 2k because it needed an engine rebuild (even though it was only the head)
