I often miss my SV!! It was a 2003 half-fairing in silver. Truly a great motorcycle!

I don't have a recent photo of my motorcycle but here are some older ones. It's a 2013 Speed Triple R.

Working from home most of the week (and having two kids under 5) has really limited my time on the bike...

I still need to find a good deal on a expansion pipe for my 200exc. Current one is broken and leaking in several places :annoyed:

They had mine in stock on revzilla. Surprisingly. For 278$ first time I've seen it in stock for close to 2 years.

To be fair this what my rm250 looks like right now. I'm sure your 1200 bike is in better condition than my bike.

I mean 1200 bucks is a bargain. Should leave plenty in the budget for upgrades. I don’t know your wife obviously, but I’m pretty certain she would see that logic.

My rm250 is a complete rebuild as you can tell. But I wasn't gonna start the motor rebuild till I found a the expansion chamber. Now that I have it ordered time to pull the motor out of the box and tear it all down. It definitely needs a top end. I have a buddy that owns a vapor blast company. So all the parts will be headed to him.

Installed the Triumph OEM heated grips on my Tiger 660 yesterday after work.

Had to ride down to the clinic for a blood draw this AM when it was 48* and a 13mi stint of 80mph freeway.

These things are TOASTY on high. Well worth the money and a quick install.

I think it's a great addition to the class. I think a lot of people have realized that middle weight naked bikes with low end torque are a much better option for sporty street riding than high revving 600 class supersports. Between this bike and whatever Suzuki comes out with, if the rumors of the SV-650 getting replaced are true, it's going to make for some very good options in the segment. As much as I enjoy my FZ-07 and I know the newer ones do have some upgrades I feel like maybe this will be the push Yamaha needs to make some real improvements in power and tech to their bike as well.
