My machine lender just sent me an end of the year promo. 0% down and no payments for 90 days. Hmmmmm. Maybe I do need that new machine sooner. :D

My father had this habit. We found pairs everywhere when he moved out of the house.
Fun Fact - Sam’s (and probably Costco too) sells 10 packs based on magnification. Dollar Tree sells combo reading/sunglasses. Enjoy!

Little bit of this and that
Ouch, depending on the size/voltage it could be even longer. I've got pad mounts that aren't due to ship until Nov. '23. :bananadead:

OnX Hunt is pretty good at locating property ownership, there's a yearly fee (not sure what it is cause my buddy always pays it :D)...we use it to determine public lands that we can hunt.

Side note: a couple of years ago my buddy had 3 trail cams in the woods, I had no idea where they were....he had them marked on onX and I walked right to all three of them.

You can click inside the red outlines and it tell who owns the property.

I just tried the free 7 day trial, it didn’t show land transfers from 4 years ago. I’ll go to the courthouse one day and have them pull the deeds.

I have worn the BearKat bifocal safety glasses for years, this summer I noticed they offered tinted bifocals too - game changer for outside work.

Same. I'm merciless to them too. I'm due for a few more pairs to destroy.

I get them at the Dollar Tree (now known as the Dollar N' A Quarter Tree), it doesn't sting too bad if I lose or break them.

    Side note:
Just did the mental math....I have 9 pairs :anonymous:

My dream machine is a Brothers Speedio. I spoke with one of their sales reps and got a rough quote on a S700x2. It’s a little rich for my blood at this time and I feel like with my current machine it will take me way to long to get to where I comfortable affording it.

So Im 95% confidant that I want to get this machine, Syil X7, as soon as possible. I’m working with them on a formal quote right now. With an epoxy granite frame, BT30 spindle, 16 tool ACT, wireless probing and tool setter, chip conveyer, and 4th axis setup it’s looking to be around $60k. I’m comfortable swinging the payments on that. And I feel like it would help me grow quicker and be able to add the speedio sooner.

Oh decisions, and stress lol 63D1B448-C31A-443F-8D2C-01021241D731.jpg

Single ply no problem; generally I'll reel off about 6 foot then fold it several times...probably like 8 ply before it makes a pass.

    Outage:bananadead:
This is craziest I've seen. The company much of the valve work is subbed to didn't bring machinist, and then the company we hire from for shop support one guy didn't show so a replacement supposed to be here to help me Friday night.
    The Lone Ranger so far...

I had :bananadance:today! New pistol in my possession.

We have power transformers in our systems that we want to replace, some are 5 years out. Last year Ermco stopped taking ordered for pole top and padmount transformers for a bit because there was no way they could keep up. They would t even answer the phone. Crazy.
