ASSHOLE PARKING

You guys really need to lay off the trailers. Sometimes it’s a real pain in the ass and the conditions are not always ideal. Sometimes you just have to put it wherever you can and it’s not because you want to. Some truck parked across four spaces or people that can’t get in between the lies or the park in handicap all definitely assholes but the guys with trailers are just guys with trailers.

 

I mean, you can clearly see other options available (at least in the pic you quoted). the pole in the background, could have parked there and only taken two spaces instead of five close spaces.

I agree finding parking is shite sometimes but lack of consideration is a main factor in the majority of these, not "no where else to park"

 

I drove with a trailer for work for some years and the majority of other drivers are the one who are inconsiderate. They crowd you and don’t give you room to merge get all pissed off when you have to take things a bit slower bitch about where you park. There are to many examples in this thread of people parking with a trailer doing nothing wrong. Maybe there was another car in the way by that pole when he came in or maybe the parking lot is open enough and there are plenty of spaces for other people so it makes no difference. Just because a truck and trailer take up more space they what you feel they should doesn’t make them an asshole.

 

Needs some Rusteze bumper ointment.

 

I never said there weren't inconsiderate a$$holes out in the world. but just like me on my motorcycle, people with trailers need to take different approaches, parking in general.

so take the trailer and park a few spaces out, leaving the 5 spaces for 5 individual cars going to the same location. if you're there with a trailer more often than not you are picking up a large load or spending time in the store looking for items for a project. those individual cars could be quick shoppers

this is specifically most of the examples of trailers in this thread, parking w/e the hell they feel like instead of using that common courtesy aspect of life

each side will have have their views on what they think is right. but when common courtesy is needed it seems to fall on deaf ears by those causing the issue.

I always try to park way out to avoid door dings, I never take up two places but this seems to happen a lot, there are so many other spots!

This trailer is blocking a handicap space and is at the front of the lot near the store entrance. Hundreds of spaces 25 yards to the left. Just an entitled, lazy, asshat.

 

What handicap spot?

 

To the right of the trailer are five handicap spots, of which he was blocking one. The cop who ticketed the driver pointed it out to him.

 

I see no handicap spots in that picture.

Remember, just because you have a trailer doesn't mean you can park anywhere you want and say you had no other option. Take your *** to the end of the lot.
