    The plant engineer that I work next to and work with ( to a degree ) got fired this morning, it has made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere to say the least. My immediate supervisor was up in the office this morning, a few minutes before the engineer came into the cube area. He was gathering a few things before he announced his "goodbye and good luck" wishes, when I asked him what was going on he just said ' they just fired me' and left. My supervisor came back a few minutes later and just said 'he wasn't doing his job'. WTF...o_O

    They have all of the house to play with ea other during the day but Rascal is usually found hiding under the bed or on my lap when I'm in the recliner couch looking for a safe place away from Gunny

    During night time which is from 2200hrs until 0600hrs is when I separate them as Rascal is constantly being pummeled on and attacked by Gunny . She hides in the closet most of the time or on my bed but Gunny just torments her . Being that she's almost 14 yrs old I'm worried Gunny might hurt her

    Rascal hasn't been with another cat now going on 3.5 years . That's when I had Gizmo a Maine Coon but sadly at just 5 yrs old Gizmo suffered a coronary embolism and had to be put down . Gizmo was 6 weeks old when I rescued him and Rascal and Gizmo became inseparable . Now comparing Gizmo to Gunny it would be Gunny being more hyper and with never ending energy reserves
