Just want to point out from my experience, Yes, they've done this since the first day I installed them and I thought it was pretty weird.. had a triple check my install and everything is torqued and correct.

However, I have absolutely no other issues.. on gravel, roads and pavement they drive just like stock.. I climbed novice off-road trails all over Oregon and they have been great.

It's just the dreaded speed bumps at Wal-Mart/target and just about every national park we visit. My wife hates it every time.

Tomorrow I am going to put the gopro above the wheel well to get a side shot of the shock and go 6mph over a speed bump and see if we can figure out whether its topping out or bottoming out.

Mine were about 1.5" of lift right out of the box. I did a bit of adjustment to compensate for "taco lean" but I didn't count turns to do that.

I received an email from Dave at eibach, they are awaiting a set of coilovers sent back from a customer with this issue to investigate.

So hopefully we can get an answer to why they do this.

Seems to be this an issue with incorrect oil weight or being under filled. The third option would be valving, but if that were the case I'd think it would be more wide spread. Option 4 would be shipping with the wrong springs...being oversprung.

Does this issue also affect the stage 1’s?

I'll be shipping them out on Monday so hopefully they can take them apart and see what the issue is.

People with the issue, does your coilovers also Squeak going over bumps, off roading etc? I've grease my JBA Uca multiple times. Squeak does not go away..

No, these were dead quiet for me.

I did have a weird squeak for a little while, check your skid plates to make sure they are super tight.

I get a squeak from the sway bar, but only when both sides compress or extended together. This causes the sway bar to twist in the bushings causing the squeak. It was bad when I first installed and is barely noticeable now.

I believe the issue is the relocation bracket. The factory bolt head sits proud above the surface when mounted to the frame and this causes more compression on the bushing when it is mounted.
