    @Toywoodsguy82

    Pretty full. People were rolling in after dark looking for a spot. Some interesting choices for camps. 2 trucks posted up right next to the boat ramp. Seemed like there was an empty spot or 2 in the campground down the road from the lake. We didn’t really hear anyone though. Not that we could with the wind howling.

    Ok… that’s what I thought you might say. Just to many people nowadays for me to enjoy that place on the weekends

    Man I want to come just to meet that puppy! What a cutie! :D

    I cannot make it Wed. I am going to be in Eugene on the 20th, and I was considering going to the dunes either the 19th or the night of the 20th. Haven't really made up my mind yet.

    Almost all the rad pullout spots just off the road on the way in were empty though. And there was still an empty site at Bonney meadows around 1pm on Saturday.

    I’d think that road would keep more people away from badger.

    Man I have seen sedans down there like a Kia Optima before. I have also seen subi’s bash their oil pans and have to be drug put to the main road to be towed home :rofl:

    Last time I was out there I saw a toyota minivan just flying down the road. Then there was this truck who stopped me to tell me to turn around, and that I "wouldn't make it". He was talking about the same road the minivan had come down. :rofl: People are wild :rolleyes:

    It’s kinda shitty because there are many signs that say no trailers…. I was there onetime and someone dragged their drift boat down there… then he proceeded to cuss his wife out in the middle of the lake and everyone heard it

    Most of the signs are gone or too shot up to read any more.

    Well, that feels new. Where did you see that? I’m assuming it’s for fire danger.

    That’s pretty cool if it keeps trails open though.

    Seems legit. They close the trails during the hottest part of the day. Better than closed entirely during fire season.

    Fire risk in Tillamook forest has dropped back to moderate (which means we can off-road after 1pm). Anyone interested in a Browns Camp meet up on a Saturday or Sunday this month?

    Would be down to hang with some new people and do some easy trails.. or difficult ones. Free October 9, 15, 16, 22, & 23.
