    I've been away from any schooling for over 35 years.:eek: The two writing courses I've taken so far have been the most helpful as far as "real world" use goes. You're not that old yet...

    Id say a dozen trucks, plus a couple local fjs... doesn't seem like a ton but the last shoecreek meet only a few people posted on the thread and we had likee 20 trucks show up

    Couldn't find any brass rod either. I did find brass screws though. They might work to set the pins, I have a small brass hammer to get them started.

    Figured, i could hold them with needle nose vise grips and tap the home. Hmm, sounds like an Irish joke.
    Lower assembly on my AR-15 project. I want to do it this seeker, but i thank you for the offer.

    Still gonna order a set for future use. Amazon had a good price.

    i didnt use brass putting my lower together...just a small nail set and a small hammer

    just put masking tape around where the punch may "walk" onto the lower to prevent any scratching
