I am shopping around for black wheels and I really like the XD ones...but I ran into a problem, the backspacing. If I'm right I think the backspacing for the tacomas is 4.5? And all of the XD wheels that I have looked at are 5+....I really don't want to run a spacer because of the pressure it puts on the joints...I'm hoping I'm wrong about the backspacing....here are the two I'm looking at. The first is the crank and it's bs is 5.0 the second is the revolver and it's bs is 4.53-5.7. So I'm pretty possitive I will at least be able to run the revolver but I prefer the crank over the two...Any insite would help.

I like the revolver better. Just looks a little more beefy. Don't know much about backspacing but I have spidertrax wheel spacers and they are great, pretty sure they don't add any stress to anything

OME 3" lift with 885 coils. OME Shocks with TSB 1.5 AAL. 285/75/16 KM2s. XD Hoss 16" wheels. DDM Tuning 6000K HIDs, H10 6000K Fogs. BHLM. Debaged. 20% tint on front windows.
Depends..... Do you have a 3" lift and plan on running 33s? If you are going with that... then yes you will need a BS of 4.5 and lower to reduce upper control arm rub.. You will be fine with getting wheel spacers, but why spend extra $200 for wheel spacers where you can get different XD wheels with a better BS? Now if you are staying stock and you want those wheels then you'd be fine getting them.. I have the XD Hoss and i love em.

I'm not going to stay stock, I'm going to get a 3" leveling kit with rear blocks and run 33s...I might even do a 6" suspension lift and go with 35s...still not too sure...lol

    Stock backspacing is 5.5"

If you want to run 265's, you can get wheels with 4.5-5.5" backspacing.

If you want to run 33's, get the 4.5" BS.

IMO stay away from leveling kits. Messes up your truck's suspension geometry and cause it to have a rough ride. It's like a chick wearing high heels, it may look good but her feet hurt. IMO if i were you i'd go with a OME 3" lift... I have it and love it. A 6" lift would be badass

This is the first truck I have owned (always wanted a taco) and I'm not sure if I will like the truck once it's lifted (I will love the look but might hate the mpg)...and I'm kind of scared to go the full 6"...lol. I was looking on topguncustomz.com at there 6" suspension lifts and I'm not sure I want to drop that either...lol...any recomendations on lifts?

My XD Monsters are 4.5" BS. It didn't show that as an option on any website, so I called and asked. They do come with 4.5" BS.

I have a revtek leveling kit with rear tsb and love it. Ride is great, just like factory. Dont do much offroading but occasional trails.

Ok this might be a dumb question but what if I run something with a 4" backspacing?
