I'd start with a police report and surveillance footage. Then progress to a slingshot, drip torch or shotgun.

    I'm only a hobby detailer.

Have you tried the self car wash? It may have enough water pressure if no one there to remove the spray paint.

Hey - brand new Tacoma here, wondering if any of the interior ceramic protection products really work. I live in the desert and my dog sheds, so ideally I’m looking for something that has some anti-static properties to help keep dust and dog hair from coating the dash, doors, etc. Anyone have any experience with that? I’m looking at Chemical Guys’ InnerClear or HydroInterior at the moment.

Have you tried nail polish remover and a stack of microfiber towels? Test a small spot first; probably need to follow up with polishing if you can get it removed.

Will the acetone ruin the truck paint?

Possibly as it should remove paint. That's why I suggested testing a small spot first.

Hey, funny - I was coming here to post a similar question. My truck isn't brand new, and unfortunately I don't have my own dog, but I live in and play in the desert. I cannot keep the inside clean! I don't mind the dirt really... but I plan to drive the truck until it gives up on me...so I want to take good care of it inside and out. I may just order some and give it a whirl, maybe paired with the nonsense cleaner?

I read Adam's Polishes Interior Cleaner and the Interior Detailer has anti-static properties. I tried the detailer but I can't say anything on the dust repelling. I give the dash, door panel a quick wipe more than once a week.

I'm looking at investing in a proper polisher but am unsure if I should get a traditional spinning type or the Random Orbital type? I'm guessing the Random orbital style is less likely to damage the paint if I overdo it. These things are expensive so I want to be sure I'm getting something I will be happy with. My initial thoughts are to go with this model: M18 FUEL 21mm Random Orbital Polisher Kit | Milwaukee Tool I would also think this model would be less likely to make swirl marks but I'm not sure.

You are better off with a random orbital versus a rotary. Rotary is more likely to burn paint and leave buffer trails. I can’t comment on the tool you linked. I would do some research over at Autogeek and on their forums. I don’t see that particular machine listed for sale on there. They tend to have the more popular detailing tools like Flex, Rupes, Griots.

Well, you have to be a Milwaukee tool dealer to sell Milwaukee tools so that's the likely reason they don't list it there. I'm deep into the Milwaukee battery system (both M18 and M12) so this would be an easy add and my research indicates that professional detailers all liked this product, not the best but very good especially for being cordless. Thanks for the feedback I think this is the way I'll go.

definitely sounds like the way to go, given you are deep into their other lines. Please report back how you like it.

Anyone tried the Milwaukee cordless 21MM orbital polisher yet?
