Sounds like you are describing me! I'm not rude, I just don't take any shit from my dispatcher. And when she screws me over I Iet her know it and why.
    Truth hurts!

Haha our dispatcher is a great guy and usually is actually running with us about half the week. And I definitely understand when you get run super hard all the time it’s hard to be cheery. Definitely swapping jobs and hours helped along with a week to just relax. Keep looking and you’ll find a better job.

HUMPDAY! Be safe drivers. I found out yesterday by asking that I'm back on every other Saturday. They wouldn't have told me until the last minute if I haven't asked. I don't like working 6 days a week. When I was younger it was no big deal, but ay my age it drains me now.

I am officially done for the week, heading up to Montana with my old man till Sunday. Don’t get to take many trips with him and he’s starting to get some back and hip problems which will only limit him further.

Ehhh. Not the most fun I’ve ever had. Gotta point it back to Philadelphia tomorrow morning.

Reading some of y'alls posts make me glad I'm where I am now. Longest week since I've been with OD...48 hrs (Fri - Thur). Don't miss 14 hr days (16? - kiss my ass!!!), damn sure don't miss Saturdays. Too old for that shit! Too many years of that shit!! Approx 65 weeks to retirement (but who's counting?).

Almost got a car door today (and the dumb bitch that jumped out of it without checking her mirror). Downtown setting, narrow assed street with parking on both sides. I was just about to her rear bumper when she whipped the door open and stepped out, missed her by about a foot and her door by about 4". The look on her stupid face was priceless! Funny thing was that about 2 hours earlier, I had mentioned the exact same scenario to one of the guys in the office.

Have one pickup that I have to blind-side into the dock off the street. Another LTL driver had just backed in (right-side, he turned around in the neighboring lot, they get pissy about drivers doing this) as I pulled up. He watched me back in next to him from his cab. After, he says: not bad...you should be an LTL driver. My reply was: the hardest part of that is worrying that some dumb sonofabitch will try to drive behind me as soon as my trailer swings, cutting off my line of sight until I can see through the rear window of the cab. I'm starting to wonder daily if the stupid in this society can be turned around.

Ran into a former co-worker at my last pickup today. I said I heard he was happy with his new job. He was all smiles, said he doesn't know why he waited so long. I said: it's funny how showing up for work, doing your job and not getting f*cked with changes everything. His response was: amazing concept, isn't it?!

It's FRIYAY, but I'm not excited, I have to go in early today and work tomorrow too. Sucks!
The week started out good but ended shitty.

Well 12 hours Friday as usual and I'm working today on Saturday. Only good thing is I don't have to be in until 8 o'clock. I guess I'll hate it all the way to the bank. 34 degrees this morning.

Nope, I already have a shitty job so I'm being very selective, dont want another shitty job. But all the possibilities here dont want to pay, or its otr, or 6 days, you get the point.
