As far as I know all these options will still cause sag but not as much. Better to go with sumo springs and call it a day.

Lol. Sumos don't do anything until sag happens.

Progressive AAL if you want to spend less than 200 bucks.. or a new leaf pack if you've got more $$$ and want to do it correctly from the start.

Sumos and Airbags are 'helper' solutions for when the springs start a saggin'.

My "stock" truck sits "level".......when I hook up my utility trailer and load my golf cart, I guess I get "bro lean"???? Anyway, it sags a little in the rear. I just inflate my Air Lift air bags to about 25psi and like magic, it sits level again. FWIW

When my 2011 was new found a recall for "harsh ride" Toyota replaced the springs much heaver and one more leaf been fine ever since no problem with a 1/2 cord of firewood or my camper. I'm sure you can find some better aftermarket springs.

It has a angled shim. It has no driveline vibrations. I was referring to axle wrap where the leaf spring allows the axle to turn on its axis an insane amount. The axle twists probably 15* in each direction.

Ya lost me there how does it do that? It's pinned to the spring. Axle wrap is pretty much the same as spring wind up the tendency to shape the springs in a "s" under full power don't think the Tacoma has enough guts to do that

Helper springs or air bags would be your cheaper options, especially since you're not constantly loaded, only when you go camping.

Doesn’t take much guts when weak springs from the factory get worn out after years of service

General Spring HD springs lifted my rear about 2 to 2 1/2 inches and were reasonable in price.

Go for a full set of leafs with an overload that you can remove. The Icon RXT is a great design, either exchange for 10% additional spring rate or add for 20% additional spring rate. Consider Old Man Emu HD Dakar leafs too, and pull the overload if you won't be carrying heavy gear all the time. When you know you're really gonna set out for a long or heavy trip then take the time to get the overload back in a few days early. That or pack light all the time and run mediums (known to sag), or start your bug out kit and get some HDs in there 24/7/365.

Avoid spacer lifts too, buy once cry once. No AAL, no spring pucks or blocks. Just a good ol' set of coils, leafs, and shocks to suit your needs and weight adequately without going too light or too heavy.

another vote for firestone airbags if you load it up intermittently like i do. I don't want any additional lift when unloaded. The 4-6 times a year I'm loaded down, i put pump 'em up to ~15 lbs.

Natrex, something to consider is how you will intend on using the truck.
Will the weight stay in the rig.
    Will it come out.

In my build I tracked everythings weight to a fair degree. What stays in and what comes out.

Lew at Alcan Springs made my rear Springs
to accommodate the weight and ride and in my case a two inch lift. I didn't want Deaver for example and be sky-high out back, forcing me to raise the front.

Understand how your going to use the truck, understand your weight.
Sometimes you have to buy once and cry once.
Thanks to Lew at Alcan Springs, I carry 900# on trails. It rides beautifully. With gear out the ride is equally nice.

Make it nice or do it twice.

And guys... sorry for duplicate ..pics.
