I am debating on doing this before I tub my truck. I’ve seen many threads about which cables people use, battery boxes, pics of the bed etc. but no one really talks about the engine bay part.

Anyone have anything to share what they did in the engine bay?

Yeah it’s weird how many battery pics I found but how little engine bay pics there are.

Hopefully some people have some good ones.

wouldn’t it just be a picture of a spliced cable? Not very exciting.

I think he means the hole left behind with the battery not being there anymore? All the new room for activities

Ah, yeah I guess so. I’d just cut that platform out and weld in some sheet metal.

Not really. Some people use bus bars, some people just bolt the wires together, etc. Which is why I started the thread to see what people have done.

Reviving this. Need to relocate mine and was wondering what gauge wire people use, and if they run both a power and ground, or just a power and use chassis ground.

    Should do a ground also.
I used 2/0 gauge. There is just enough room behind the back seat for them if you don’t want to do the bed route

use welding leads, much easier to deal with. To bad you’re not closer, I have a bunch extra crap from doing mine
