600 bucks. Needed an idler pulley and that was it.

I mean technically, it needed a lot of things but that was all it needed to run. Well. I mean the freaking fuel tank was held in by ratchet straps. Good enough

Went to school with a guy who drove a regular cab short box 6.2. That was a hell of a truck, if a bit odd.

With this one having the long bed, you could actually put one of those dumpster bags in it and load the damn thing to the gills.

I miss the good old days when you could get rusty gold on craigslist for just over scrap value. The 03 rolla we bought for $900 and it's still solid (except around 40mph/2nd gear)

Need a wider axle. Be like @Yota X and wrestle with a big ol ford super duty axle.

There's several LS and LQ's with T56s behind them in the local lots. @T1TITAN :boink:

That's rough. I hope it clears up for you soon my friend.

Lift off gas > Feel floorboard clunk
Press on gas > See above.

Only around that speed which I assume is 2nd. I stopped driving it when it started except once for an Oreilly's run for the truck while it was on stands. It'll drive, but if somethings janky I don't want to daily it. I'm guessing either a bushing, link or tie rod is bad, or its a bearing or clutch pack in the transmission. I really only notice it at that speed though so I'm leaning on transmission.

I'd love me an ls or lq with a t56. Where is this local lot you say?

And nah that would be too easy. Who wants driver side drop anyways. Plus the rear axle is 65in with 1.5 spacers on it and this front is 63.5 with none so it looks funny

Winner rd Pick-N-Pull has camaros, and Midway U-Pull in Liberty does as well.

just a couple of things tbh
Rear tire was replaced today and it’s a lot better! The road force was 36-39 which something I didn’t know means the tire is flexing and loosing its form (that’s how it was explained to me) and the faster you spin the more out of round it looks. so this new tire has a road force of 4 so it’s a lot better I did go ahead and order some hub rings for the truck as well since the hub is so small on the ranger. now technically you don’t need em since it’s lug centric but a lot have stated it helps so why not they are cheap.

So this has been fun, not! Idk why it stresses me out to cut up an 80 series axle?

I was wondering what kind of roof rack you had, but then I looked closer and saw it's a nice ...hood rack.
