What have you bought in the last 48 hours gun related?

Oh happy day!

 

Ya I haven't done much with mine except change the stock, put a Weaver scope on it and swap a couple internals, but I kinda like it like that. A nice custom takedown would be sweet though.

 

I have another 10/22 also. I've got a buyer line up for it and the PA red dot that came on this one. After that one sells, minus what I had into it, i'll be into this takedown net for about $70.

 

I'd probably just keep both lol. I used to sell/trade guns like crazy, now I don't like selling anything, only adding to the collection. Gotta live up to my childhood dream of having a Burt Gummer wall of guns

 

Are going to build it? You know, make it "yours".

 

This was a last minute trip to FL I actually planned on coming down tomorrow but other things took over. I’ll make it down there on a Saturday soon…..

 

I'm running out of room in my safe.

 

Then buy another safe. Duh.....

 

Probably just throw this 1-4 vortex I have laying around on it and call it a day. Going to order my first can soon and it will be a .22 can so this and my 15/22 will get alot more use. But also, I can't leave well enough alone so I'll probably go down a 10/22 rabbit hole and by next month i'll have $600 sunk into this 10/22 haha. Who knows?

 

wife said no....but I stand to inherit 2 pretty full safe's sometime down the road. Hopefully wayy way way down the road. But some point none the less.

Very frustrated with mine. I need to call Ruger when I get a chance. I have an issue with the safety and it is hands down the most finicky weapon with ammo I have ever seen

 

Are you using factory magazines? I tried some Butler Creek mags years ago and they were crap.

 

Yes Sir all factory magazines the original 10 rounder and BX25’s. I decided to try higher grade ammo so got some federal target ammo and it was worse. The casings would expand and stick in the chamber or jamb

 

I had one it would click with the safety on and when released the safety it fired

i used them all time

 

This one, every time I remove the stock it rotAtes the safety and the trigger won’t work. I have to take the stock back off and use pliers to rotate the safety back into position. Yes, I do center the safety before I remove the stock I even tried to file the stock down a little to give it more room

I agree all I have ever heard is how great they are and will eat almost any ammo. Not this one so I may have to call Ruger. Not upset about it we can get a flawed item any time. I just don’t think this one is right

 

Ive only had 2 they are picky with some ammo. I like federal best, thunderbolt is junk if it hollow point. Winchester would feed but i got bad batch or something, 1 out of 5-7 rds was a duds. Cci of course is good

 

I’m hoping the federal bulk box is good I have a little of that
