What made you decide to keep the lift(I was surprised when you wanted to sell it)? And when you throw it on, what size tire you going with?

There’s a big hole on the right going up that hill, that Don almost rolled his truck on its side!

I’ll stay with same size tire since I commute in this truck. It will basically just level my front out with my rear.

Gotcha. You went 5160's in the rear? I have those. Not that I do anything crazy, but they have seemed to work for how I drive :D

I don't do anything crazy in my truck, just trail ride, maybe tackle a small hill here and there.

I don’t bother keeping up with the hours any more haha it’s pretty much 24/7 in some capacity as an owner, but I enjoy it

Yep! Do you like yours? My Dobinsons have been great and no issues with them now. Just curious if the 5160s will be any better.

I've got no complaints. I saw where Dobinsons finally released the IMS rear shocks. I would like to have those just because.....but they're not really needed. If I do get them, the 5160's will go on the trailer

As you should. It ain’t charity! Not having to take it home is a big benefit to working for someone else. I wake up at least once a night worrying about something work related haha

The last job I worked I had 3 shifts so I got calls 24/7. It is so nice to not have to think about anything now.

I bet! I love it though. No matter how busy things get it’s always less stressful than not being busy enough

I always keep me a project to work on everyday.
My job was fun and I do miss the day to day challenges it had but dealing with customers around the world could be hard sometimes. As long as I can keep me an offroad project to work on I'm happy.

There is a ride with most of the same crew we rode with going to AOP in two weeks if you are free. Well about half of them are going to AOP this weekend and the other half are going to Hawk Pride but I am too busy this weekend. I will be going to AOP in two weeks. Another group is planning on hitting Morris Mountain the first week of December too, that is pretty close to you.

That’d be a fun trip. They’ve scheduled to induce on the 24th, so I won’t be going anywhere for a bit. I might can do a day trip somewhere close like Chocco later in the year, I’ll have to play it by ear.

"Went up it" is relative. Might have had to get drug up it for a little bit... :tinfoilhat: Had a blast though. I realized yesterday if I'd have had those dang traction boards with me instead of upstairs in a closet it might have helped a bit. Lol.
The stock bash plate definitely saw some action and the sliders saved me prolly more $$$ than I spent on them. Long as I can drive it to work the next day, I oddly enjoy the trail graffiti.

I recognize the area. I almost put my truck on its side go in the opposite direction. And then coming back up it took a little extra gas pedal. I don’t have a locker but it was also not rutted out nearly as bad! Of course I was there with Clay also… hah
