Dirt dobbers or something layed eggs in my exposed evap tubes. Nothing an air compressor and pipe cleaners can’t handle. Glad the didn’t invade my fuel lines.

Lower ball joints just showed up via the big brown truck. Was getting ready to put the knuckles back on and noticed this with the front diff... WTAF? Is it supposed to be flush or not and wtf happened to my durobump bushing on the driver's side? It wasn't like this before when I first installed the front diff a few days ago. Truck has been on stands ever since waiting for the LBJs. Diff mounts were all torqued down. Should I loosen up the mounts, try to reseat everything then proceed with installing the knuckles?

Lots of dust and custom dents, Check Build
You're missing the bushing that goes on top, which isn't supplied with the replacement durobump set.

That's exactly what happened. I put it on top of the crossmember and bolted it down. FFS. Well, in my defense lol, didn't have a front diff before and it was the first time installing one. Oh well, will loosen it up and hopefully I didn't screw myself here.

    EDIT:

    Mistake fixed. Good to go.

Added ditch lights. Now dark country roads won’t look like I’m driving with candles for headlights! New headlights are the next purchase.

only difference is the thickness and I imagine trying to remove that chemical laden blue HF fabric but yep, good point.

    Swap Update -

Buttoned up the front end today. Double checked CVs were seated correctly inboard. Dropped the truck off stands and I think the driver side was not seated fully. :censored: I'll put it back on stands tomorrow and pull the wheel. Who knows, maybe I'll get lucky and I can just tap it in without busting everything loose again (LBJ, Outer tie rod, etc.).

Also I wonder if I should've went the diff drop route. Seems those CV boots are pretty bunched up. Then again, what do I know? lol.

Driver side, I think its not seated fully

I thought about running mine that way. I like the look on the front wheels. Not so much on rear wheels.
