OCD was getting to me, so I tweaked it some more.

It's not until the outer edge of the cutting area that the blade twists a bit so I may need to add some set screws to the other "guide"

This thing is so cheap it doesn't even have a tolerance rating

A simple tap with a soft blow hammer sets the CV axles in place. You'll know they're right since you were able to get the retaining ring around the CV axle end prior to installing the hub assembly.

You should be done; why put it up on stands again?

I'm sure I can, I could've picked up a free 3rd Gen front diff the other day but chose not to after I realized the guy said 3rd Gen Tacoma...I thought he said 3rd Gen 4Runner.

I’ve got uppers and a complete 3rd gen set of shocks and springs. Plus the recall is covering new leaf springs. Legit just need lowers lol

if I was keeping the truck I’d do the pro suspension lol

 

Jesus fuck has there been a single toyota leaf spring that hasn't been recalled?

 

They never recalled any of the first gen ones to my knowledge, they just broke if you used em too hard. Every first gen I've had, has had a busted stock leaf.
