Hey all. Do any of you guys have a single 265/75/16 tire that you would be willing to part with for a fee? Or maybe know some who does?

I have a few things left to acquire before my next trip and a full size spare is on the top of my list. I’m trying to avoid buying a new tire but it’s been harder to find a used one for sale than I expected.

 

I had that motor shipped to my work in Maryland from Arizona, $1400 shipped and it was a complete motor. A week after I got that Tacoma up & running I drove it to Texas to pick up my new camper.

Not sure it’s a busy this is a month for us but I think we’re coming up next weekend just don’t know if I’m bringing it that trip .

October is the best month out of the year to be up here tho.

 

Not sure the hunters would agree ,today was opening turkey season and bow season for deer opened the 24 of September

 

I've never had issues, been here 5 years. All my Fall TW meets were in October. I was out with 3 atvs riding today. And we saw about 10 other atvs/sxs's riding today. Now around Thanksgiving I keep it quiet, rifle deer season is a BIG deal up here.

 

@crazyfingers ypu still looking for lb sliders? These seem a little pricy but maybe they’ll negotiate?

 

Geeeez $1,200? That makes the used ones you found for me at $800 a steal

Oh Sunday fun day… what to do, what to do??

Update on the 1st Gen. Found the truck, sadly no one was home. Took a quick up-close peek at her… sitting in the field for however long has not been great to it. Lots of cancer (rust), undercarriage was all but the same. Bed skirts all wrinkled up and interior looked like some type of creature may be living in it. Needless to say, I had to walk away from this one. So still on the lookout for a 1st Gen 2wd… she’s out there, I can feel it!!

IKR, I mean I understand wanting to get what you paid but sometimes what you paid isn’t what something is worth anymore.

 

@2ndhandTacoman and his lady friend stopped by the cabin yesterday for a visit. We bs'ed around the firepit for a bit enjoying this Fall weather then we all had dinner. Always a great time when a TW member visits.

 

@Backdoc i remember, I think, you were looking for new wheels, I saw this set pop up, SCS wheel look great and maybe you can negotiate a little. I think 250 each is about what they cost new plus shipping-

 

It would probably be asafe to assume that since the truck is in Honduras, the $300K is in Honduras Lempira, which at the current exchange rate convert to about $12K USD. Plus shipping and import fees although the ad shows the truck is in Gaithersburg?? Who the hell knows, I'd think that it was a spam ad.
