Hope the arm is better today.

As always, a nice-looking Tacoma. I am not a fan of solderless connections either. Soldering is the best for a solid connection.

We went out to dinner and music last night at Pirates Cove. It is getting cooler in the evenings now, winter will be here real soon. Getting back to work in the backyard today. Aiming to rebuild the small retaining wall and move the electrical outlet.

    Everyone have a great weekend. 20221007_173707.jpg 20221007_184414.jpg

:pccoffee:  sixtys/wannabes/budding artisans. I want to go to a car show today and I'm debating whether or not to take the Caterham. It's a beautiful day but a bit on the nippy side. If I take the car and don't freeze to death it means my driving season has been extended. If I turn into popsicle it means I may have to buy doors for the little beastie.
Ouch. I looked up that course online. It's beautiful all right. And pricey! Out of my league for sure. Maybe some club will have a track day there or something and I can sneak in that way.

    Yes and 4,500 psi epoxy.
Trying cheap acrylic for brushes and thinning but not working well.

so will use good stuff for most.

We had our first frost last night. Frost on the taco and the roofs of houses.

It may seem that way but for us it’s not. For us to go racing for one time it’s over $2000. We can go 10 times there and test and tune. We can bring any car we want. So for us it’s well worth it.

    HOOK 'EM!

We've been waiting since the first quarter of the Alabama game to get this QB back. They are just not even the same team at all, and the back up is "good", but....

And I'm sure they got the halftime lecture about last year!

Finished up the lighting and put things in place - just waiting on the 4 barstools we ordered to arrive this week. We bought some others and decided they were too short for the front of the bar - but we'll keep two of them for us to sit behind the bar since the bar top is lower there. Lynn came up with the vision for the design - came out pretty nice, I think. Happy to be done with the work - now on to the enjoyment.

Well, I'm excited, and my day is made!

    OK. Here are some stats!
    Texas 49-Oklahoma 0 final
The Sooners have not been shut out of this game since 1965., TX 19-0.
Worst shut out loss in OU history, back to a 47-0 loss in 1945
Last time OU was shut out was 311 games ago, 1998 vs. the Aggies.
OU had scored an offensive TD in 167 consecutive games.
    HOOK 'EM!! Indeed.
