Oh I know, the Solid offroad brand ones will put off more vibes but will also have a little less movement. They are also 3x the price.

Cant beat the ones I did, as they are only $160 which is cheaper than stock.

It’s not just rolling mass but the diameter still affects how to drives. Gearing also immensely helps in 4lo. 5.29s and my 35s almost felt like a crawl gear on super steep descents.

Yeah the truck is still my DD and my off-roading is a lot more snow wheeling than it is crawling. I’m planning on 4.88s but I’ve been too lazy to pull my diffs and ship them to ECGS this summer…

I go snow wheeling a few times a year too and the gearing always helps going up the trails too. Definitely worth it IMO if you’re doing 35s.

They send you the diffs first, then you send your cores back to them and get your deposit back pretty quick..maybe that's what you meant and you're too lazy to do it. It's not bad, but their packaging could be improved.

If you send your diffs first then you can avoid dealing with core charges and they get your stuff done quicker.

The trail giveth and the trail taketh!

I no longer have body mount creaking after going up to Gallagher Head last weekend!

The trail works in mysterious ways!

    Hahaha! Mother Nature's lube?

Probably got some dust in there that polished them up a bit. Might even confirm the body mount guess?

Good chance it could have been the dust shield. I chased a little squeal down back in August and it was bent in behind the caliber. I thought it was sure as hell a wheel bearing because it only happened on aggressive cornering where I was loading it up. It was like the thickness of 3 playing cards off the rotor. I think next time I’m doing wheel bearings I’m going to yeet them into the weight reduction blackberry bush behind the shop.

Tell that guy he's an idiot, I was able to get replacement u joints at my local Napa. Although, they are the best of the best IMO. Lots of knowledge under one roof there. It's a Spicer part number, and I'm pretty sure it's even stamped or on a sticker on the front drive shaft somewhere.

I did that on one of our cars and sort of regretted it. It took a bit of extra time when the rotors were cold and wet to bite.

IMO, I would flex them or cut away small areas before tossing them.

Gonna be regearing through ECGS too 4.88's here soon with an Eaton locker in rear and noticed I can do a Torsen LSD in the front, I do very easy off-roading and not trying too build a rock crawler. Does anyone have any experience with this LSD in the front? What would be the benefits and the negatives to this? I would throw a locker in but its $650 vs $1500, thanks for the input!
