    Wish I would have known that. I used a rubber gasket material that is fuel safe but pricey.

    Decided I wanted better road manners and wanted to work on the truck a little bit so I ordered up antirock swaybar kit. Notched the frame and made another truss for the sway bar. This photo was the test fit.

    After that I welded everything up and gave it a test.

    For the first time the ifs worked almost perfectly with the rear. The front passenger is sitting on bump and driver is ready to lift. Driver rear is 1/2" from bump. Previously when I would do this the front would never fully compress and the rear would be on bumps. When I drove the truck in to work it has reduced the body roll by over 50% and also handles take off better. I can now actually take on ramps at suggested speed. What a huge difference and can't wait to see how it works on the trails.

    Installed some new apex rapid deflate valve stems and painted the wheels. Kiddo was born July 1st and we broke ground on the new house last week.

    Life update since the baby haha. House is coming along quick. Brick and dry wall should be done 10/15. Hoping to be moved in by December. I went out to our local park just for a day run and ended up destroying another Detroit. It somehow also managed to bend 2 of the bearing cap bolts in the process. Also no one seems to have these bolts at all so I found a company called bolt depot and they actually had 10.9 bolts that fit! Received them Friday and hoping I can get it slapped together for a trip to hawk pride. Also little man is doing good. Just turned 3 months and his milk allergy seems to be getting better.

    Just got back from the first test drive. 70mh did great. Just have to drive it for a few days then change the fluid. Also how is your frame coming along?

    Talked to the place on sat, found the factory frame measurements, so sending those to them tonight and they will bend it up. I'll chop it up after the trip!

    When evreythings done I'll have about 3ft on each side of factory frame left LOL!!

    Sliders are going away either way, they are 17yrs old, rusty, dented and bent. May go with the rocker style sliders like Conner and tie an exo cage into it.
