What Have You Done To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Tried using Fabulous Blaster Silicone Spray Lubricant to do the same, no help, maybe I'll give this a second try--looking for nooks and crannies I missed first time-- although I will say it was dripping all over. This all seemed to have started after I drove through what looked like a pond of mineral spirits on a back trail. It was all milky, and after driving through smelled like I took a shower in either mineral spirits or turpentine, and it stained my fender flares a little white. Thanks for suggestion.

 

No rain forecasted so finally washed it...

Squeak is gone. I had to use the impact driver back out and push in the bolt a couple times spraying it with Lube to distribute the lube and squeak eventually went away. Thanks folks. Rgljr831

Glad you were able to get rid of the squeak.

 

Built a screen for my rear slider. Hate it when the leaves blow into the cab with the moonroof and rear window open. Only cost me $7 and about a half hour of time to build this. The brown screen frame was on clearance at my Lowe’s for a $1 and I already had spare screen and spline at home. Works perfectly. I cut the frame to 4-10 1/4” pieces using a metal blade on a hand grinder. Put the two spring clips in on the driver’s side and pull tabs on the passenger side.

Remember: measure once, cut twice.

Haven't posted on here in a while but now I've finally got a reason to. Just installed a viair compressor and 2.5 gal tank. Took the better part of a month to find the time to install it after my compressor turned into a compressor and tank install which turned into a compressor and tank and fuse box install. Currently all the air lines run to the engine bay where I can connect an air chuck and get all my tires but I plan on running quick connect nipples to each of the wheel wells so I can simultaneously inflate and deflate.






Only thing I'm not super happy with is that the rear set of feet for the tank is currently the lowest point on the vehicle at that section and I haven't decided if I'd rather it be the lowest point with the feet as some protection or if I'd rather chop the feet to make it tuck in better. If I chop the feet though my drain valve becomes the lowest point on the tank.
