No pics from the day but met up with @CttAznRanger and @Brownmatthall for some wrenching. Matt got a cmc and he and I got some gussets burned on our alignment tabs. Brandon went icon rxt option 3. All in all a very smooth day. Can't wait for the next!

    How do they ride Brandon?

My alignment is a little off, I'll try to get it in this week.

Huge shout out to my boy Eric for burning in our stuff. Hasn't burnt down a truck yet!:bananadead:

Eric is awesome, I was cool with literally anything as long as my plates didn't fall off and he made it a point to fill holes and clean things up. Hope he's ready to lop my front end off

Honestly they ride amazing. Small bumps are essentially nullified, but big bumps hit hard. I think once I put the bed rack on it will all be fine.
In the meantime I will be riding exact opposite my current profile pic (Cali Lean/Carolina Squat). Sitting here face down ass up.

I miss how easy it was to change the fluid on the manual. I have 80k on my slushbox now, and I'm wondering if I should just drain some and top off, or do a whole flush. I hear that sometimes the factory doesn't had as much as it should.

I watched a tube video. Where the mechanic just flat out refuses to work on a resprayed vehicle. The term hornets nest was used often.

Do it now before it's too late. You should have a drain, fill, and overflow plug. Take out the fill and overflow and go at it.

If you wait too long the fluid becomes integral to the bits and it's more harm then help by replacing.

God damn. Betcha it won't rust though.

All depends on what’s inside. rust doesn’t wear a watch.

Yours is still early enough that I would do a full flush, but a drain and fill is still a good idea. When I did the trans flush on my Dad's 4Runner, it seemed to be filled at the proper level from the factory (using the check procedure from Toyota, when we added fluid, it came pouring right out of the check plug), so hopefully yours isn't low on fluid!

I'm not sure what the recommended mileage is for Toyota. In my GM days, after 100k, don't bother.

It should be every 60k miles under "severe service". When I flushed the fluid in my Dad's 4Runner, it made a big difference on how it drove and made the transmission shift better.
