    Hello,
2015 auto, magnuson sc with bully dog tune, 140,000mi, 120,000 on this set up.

I'm having an issue when i floor it around 40 mph it down shifts and rpms are around 3k and it is slow to accelerate, below 3k seems to run just fine. Everything sounds normal, sc whine and its smooth revving all the way to shift point. This has happened about 4 times in the last 6 months. There are no check engine lights or any warning lights and no codes from obd reader.

I have an ultra gauge hooked up and everything looks normal, engine, trans, air temps and voltage. Tinkering with it I found and added timing advance, but after I already reset ecu.

To fix the problem I disconnect the battery and its back to normal. Next time it does it ill take a video. I know this is vague but thought i would see if anyone else has had a similar problem.

My guess would be TPS/throttle body related.

    Update,
I can’t figure out how to upload a video, I’m not that savvy. However I see what is happening, it’s pulling timing. Normally timing advance is around 12-15, now it’s 3 to -3. Any ideas with the new info?

Also if the magnuson thread would be better how do I move the post? Or do I need to start a new one and copy and paste?

Don't they all pull timing in boost?

Verify your exhaust back pressure with a guage in the upstream O2 sensor hole. Clogged or clogging cats will not flow enough exhaust especially in higher RPM and load situations and become a restriction.

Apparently not good at responding to replies. AFE intake with clean filter, it looks like they do pull timing with boost but my normal is 12-15 on the ultra gauge and now it’s 3 to -3. As far as the clogged exhaust I’m not sure, I haven’t installed those gauges but at the same time why would it do it so sporadically.

At this point I’m thinking maybe a faulty knock sensor, but then again I’m confused because I never have a light or fault code when I do a obd scan. Also I fill up with premium at the same 2 gas stations so I don’t think it’s bad fuel
