I gotta change the sill cock in the front of my house and rearrange the shutoff valves for washing machine to make it easier to reach. Probably change both spigots out

 

My plumbing in that area looks like a Windows 98 screen saver. The hot water used to go through the boiler only and had a loop to run the cistern through there instead of the well if you wanted, so there's several leaky valves. I don't use the boiler for hot water anymore so all that junk is getting cut out. There's also a bypass to go from the cistern to well in case it gets dry, but the well portion is getting capped off for now. What turned into a simple frost free sill cock replacement turns into a half re-plumb job. But, I figure if I have both water sources off, just do it right. Also going to be replacing both washing machine valves as they're leaking very, very slowly. Got a couple 1/4 turn ball valve style to put in there.

Yea slowly transitioning the existing gate valves in the system to them. With this job I'll be eliminating all but a couple of them. Even the shut off valves I put under the kitchen sink are the 1/4 turn variety.

 

Not that I’m aware of. I very rarely go in that store
