Did some digging, Placer was built by Weber Products in Fresno, Ca. They also built Bandit scissor lifts. All companies and products are closed and out of production. Probably built in the 1980's at best. Bil-Jax makes scaffolding, they probably had nothing to do with the manufacturer.

It has a John Deere engine so that should be no problem, the hydraulics, etc should be made of common parts. There might be some proprietary (and obsolete) electronics for the controls/safety circuits.

You probably have a forklift service company local, stop there and ask the oldest guys in the parts/service department for an opinion.

    My opinion:
If you are buying it for 1) home use 2) you can fix things 3) it is cheap -- go ahead and buy it.
If you want to use it to make money, pass.

That's my own design. Harbor freight magnetic tool holding bar with a piece of scrap wood bolted to it and the cheap lights are screwed to the wood.

Alligator clip the wires to the battery.

    Mow all night.

Anybody put any spring assist for ramps like this on? After dropping one of mine on my right foot yesterday and looking like I have 2 ankles on that side this morning I need to do something.

I looked at those. It's easier to make your own Gorilla Lift bars.

$20 for the springs and cables from Lowes.

The problem I think I would have with those is my sides on my trailer are low and my ramps are HEAVY

Back in my mowing at night times I used a magnet mount job like this down by my feet, I put on alligator clips with an inline fuse.

It was bright enough to drive a car with, however the light went full forward and a ZT can turn instantly to the side - sometimes with unexpected results...

Dang. That's like draining the transmission pan and overfilling the engine oil.

Careful there bud. You're awful close to stepping on my patent on HF light bars.

I needed the I-bolt handle to for the leverage to git it off the ROPs bar.

Looks like you’ll need a set of Deaver J44s good for a 2” lift with 300lbs of constant load
