I was hoping, him and I went similar routes with our DIY camper. We both used a contractor cap but he did a wedge and I went full pop top.

Thank you. It’s still rough around the edges but I have a lot I want to do to it. The shell itself wasn’t in great shape so I’d like to reskin the doors at some point. If it wasn’t for the fact that not many had what I wanted, cost and lead times, I would have just bought one. But I like to DIY and it was a fun learning experience. I already have ideas for improvements on V2 haha.

I am planning on being at the campground to set things up around noon. I'd like to get out after that though. We could plan for a noon meet up and head out.

Planning on arriving around noon, maybe a little before.

I drove to Amarillo for a steak with @bvbull200 - that was 2000 miles.

    You can do it.

Hp tuners overland trailer tune added yesterday. Much better throttle response and overall drivability. Hopefully the translates well to offroad applications. Otherwise, I'll be launching off the bigger rocks.

I had mine done recently and so far I’m not liking it, Mine wants to surge at low speeds. If I pull out into slow moving traffic or Stop and go at lights with just light pressure on the throttle, the truck will shift up twice and then at about 18-20mph take a big glup of air “can be heard through the snorkel”, UltraGuage then will show engine load 99% and the truck takes off. Like I stepped on it.
not good in stop and go traffic when you are just trying to maintain speed with traffic.

Anybody have a group site with open spots. It's atleast 1 truck maybe 2 if my buddy manages to get off work, we'd pitch in of course. We could rent a random site, but would probably rather stay with the group if possible.
