Deleted the rear headrests as they were just getting in the way. Picked up some brand new rough country seat covers from Facebook still in plastic. They were for a double cab and I have a access cab. I offered get 100 bucks and she took it, got those put on, thru look good for the price I be complaining!

I weigh 225 and can hang from the tank so unless I break it, its done. Hose clamps hold it fine and if I land on it not much short of its own cat guard is gonna stop it from getting fucked up.

Ride quality is important to me. Minor off roading on the weekends (not much to do on Long Island) and typically daily it otherwise. Also I just cut the bolts off and replace them with new ones and put them in the other way. Not a big fan of beating the hell out of the apron that I see a lot of people do

sweet, thanks! that's exactly what i'm looking for!

my concern was 8'+ objects(2x4's, ladders, siding, trim, etc)-- i want to run them over the cab without scratching up the paint.

i hadn't heard of the martin offroad rack before. what's the plusses/minuses over the prinsu? i was really only leaning towards the prinsu for the near-vertical rear overhang while many other designs stop at or before the shark fin.

i thought about doing that and putting them in backwards. i didnt have extra bolts on hand so i did what i had to do. ride quality is subjective i havent noticed a difference in the 70 miles ive driven around town and interstate.

    The list is growing.
I did this mod. I went with pop rivets you have to trim the side plastic pieces that are on both sides of the engine bay however. Mine need some cleaning up cuz I was a caveman initially when I cut into them lol

This is normal on pretty much all tacomas, the welds are gold colored normally, but they also rust much easier than the rest of the frame. When I got my truck I power washed the frame and blew off some of the paint there too. I brushed on some new paint over them and its been holding for 4 years.

Replaced my well used 285/70/17 KM2s with a set of Kenda Klever 35/10.50/17s. Works for on-road, but still need a bit more clearance work for offroad. I have a cab mount relocation and spindle gussets ready to go on as well, but I think these actually won't hit the existing cab mount.
Also did front suspension upgrades on my nephew's 1st gen and mounted up my former offroad set of wheels and tires to it.

Looks great. What switches are you running? They look like they match the stock lighting really well.

Are you still able to adjust the vent with this?

This will lock the vent in place. But you can move the flaps a little to bit for some adjustability.

Cleaned my engine bay and wiped it down with 303 protectant.... and changed the oil...that dripless valve is a thing of beauty if you do your own oil changes... the2.7 is no powerhouse but if you take care of it.. it will last a looooonnng time.
