Does anyone have the 8" ecgs puller I could borrow, pretty please? In Renton, holla at your boy? Holler? I think it's a soft J...

There are several people in the Portland metro area that do…

A word of caution: that puller should be modified with a bevel on the inward sides to help get it past the needle bearing and into place. I think some people didn’t struggle but there are some that have - for me it made all the difference in the world.

I have the ECGS removal tool (already beveled) and the installing driver. I'll loan it out, but due to previous issues with loaning it, I'll require a $50 refundable deposit. I'm located up in Bothell, WA. I have a buddy in Renton you can return it to.

Let me know if you're interested.

Also, the install tool would have helped me immensely- I used a bearing race install kit but it didn’t match up real well and I was reluctant to really drive it hard for fear of boogering up the bushing.

Thanks guys! I have no problem written the deposit for the rental. But more pressing is my need to get the gal moving again. I think I need a genuine ecu reset, but not the disconnect/reconnect the battery kind, more along the lines of techstream. Does anyone have the obdII adapter? Or does anyone know if a scan tool would be able to reset? I'm sunk, dead in the water otherwise.

There are a lot of folks that could help you out there, including me. It all depends on your location. Where are you at?

Incentive: I have this rack on my truck (came with when I bought the truck) and will gladly give it to whomever can bring a laptop and techstream and reset my truck (if that's possible). I have the short bed, but I believe it can extend for the long bed as well. Just as a thank you for the time and trouble. Or cash. That I can give as well lol

I'll be headed down to Tukwila tomorrow and could stop by to drop off the tools.

Or I can hand them off to Tonered.

Just moved here from Hawaii to go to school, and the place I found online and paid several months worth of rent (and a deposit) for, I discovered someone already living there.... the home owner.... who wasn't renting his home.... yeah. That happened. So now I'm staying at the Econolodge for the interim, until I can find another place. The one across the 405 from the training facility. What time in the morning? I'll work around your schedule.

Sorry guys, I wasn't sure where else to post this. But i have this rack currently on my SB but do believe it can extend for a long bed. Top shape, no scuffs or rust or and dings. It sells new for $500, the first $200 can have it. Lmk, located in Renton

There is a craigslist/for sale thread in the NW section, but you have to have 50 posts to sell here

who makes this? I want to see specs. I want to replace my RTT with a hard shell but I need to barely clear the spare tire swingout but still fit in the garage at home and at work. It's going to require a pretty specific height on the rack.
