Someone had to keep the tradition going!
And if the rod was dropped this year there's a good chance the area I was in was 6' or more deep. Could have been swept down in the current too. There's a lot of crap on the rod, makes me think it was hung up in a snag and just recently broke free.

MT plates actually. I was expecting out of staters too. Thinking maybe they're recent transplants though.

Cross bow shot through the radiator would have been nice. :drevil:

It sucks when you have self absorbed asshats that ruin the peace and quiet that everyone else around you is respectful of.

    Good afternoon everyone :hattip:

What a crazy morning I've had , woke up at 0530hrs after hearing Gunny crying wanting to come out of his room . I let him out and immediately Rascal starts chasing him all over the house

Next thing I see is Gunny heading to the cat tree and flies up to the upper level of the tree which is over 7 ft tall . I then see Gunny try and attempt a jump from that height to my Dining room table which is about 4ft away and 3ft lower than the cat tree

My fearless kitten makes the call and immediately jumps . Next thing I hear is a loud scream from Gunny and he is laying on the ground and in alot of pain and not moving his left Rear leg

I gently pick him up off the ground and comfort him and got him to calm down . At this point he starts trying to walk but he's not putting any weight on it .
Fearing he's either shattered his leg or hip I start looking for Emergency Veterinary hospitals and being it's now 0545hrs most of all of the Emergency care Veterinary clinics are closed or not open yet .

I even has a few clinics tell they're to busy and not to bother them and find another clinic .
My Veterinary clinic doesn't open until 0800hrs . So for the next 1.50 hrs and try and comfort Gunny and start noticing he isn't in alot of pain unless he is laying down on his left side . By this time it's 0715 hrs so I put him in his cat carrier and head to my Veterinary clinic and got there about 10 minutes before they open and walked inside to let them know what's going on . A few minutes later a Veterinary doctor starts examining Gunny and takes some X rays of his leg and hip . The doctor can't find any deformities or broken bones and mentions possibly a bad sprain or a bad bone bruise . Also mentions to place him inside a smaller cat carrier so all he can do is sleep and try and let the bruised muscles heal

She then gave Gunny a strong 3 day lasting sedative and I was able to take him home and will come back tomorrow for a re evaluation

Yep this Morning has sucked bad !!!:frusty:

    Thanks John !!!

And actually Gunny is doing much better now , he's kicking and clawing at the cat carrier with his bruised hip and leg trying to open the door up so he can get out

    Back from camping, also
Tried to get into Death Valley, but it isn't passable.

So we went into the eastern Sierras, beautiful time of year and we went pretty remote so not many people, mainly hunters and fisherman.

Then headed to the reward mine, where you can drive into it.
    20221009_131108.jpg

Then some exploring. We ended up near Bisop and hit the aspens changing. It was very nice.

Beautiful Pictures CV...... The fall colors are amazing. Love the Eastern Sierra. Used to go to Convict Lake quite a bit. Now we gotta find a place that our new dog approves of.

I was too lazy to step out of the truck, so It focused on the bug splatter on the windshield

Yep !! They had a very well known Tuner help them from Rick Prospero's team . Plus they finally figured out how much faster Mullet is with the lock up converter activated
