I think they will provide enough support for my needs. Definitely not as robust as my old ones as they mounted to the frame but other than that I think they are pretty beefy.

Nothing other than I wanted to get rid of that lip that restricted things from sliding out.

Mounted a couple of rifle cases on the roof rack. Nothing in them yet, but one will eventually be recovery gear, and the other will prob hold camping odds and ends that aren’t used very often :)

Well Amazon dropped the ball. The cheapo speakers I ordered (4) didn’t show. I onl got two. So ya get what ya pay for. Back to Amazon they go! Went an ordered kickers thru crutchfield. Cs series. Cheapest ones they offered. 159.00 $ 3 way 6x9’s and mid range 6.5’s. Subaru tweeters are coming today.

Amazon vendors are a crapshoot! I always default to another source if the $ penalty isn't too great. Still, I've been stung several times. They just don't exercise the control over their sub-suppliers that they should.

I dig it! Turned out much better than mine. Sits up too high since the threaded insert is attached to the drill hole at the bottom

Where did you source it? Was it diy?

Where did you get that bracket attached to your bed rail? I could make use of something like that.

Really like it so far. The DMM is a great cheaper alternative but isn't as sturdy as the 3TPAM. Planning on using an ipad for gps so wanted a more secure mounting solution for that. The DMM was starting to creak just from the weight of my phone and radio.

These actually came from their warehouse previously sold and an open box item. But they had it on their web page as a 4 speaker set. Nothing was missing. Just wasn’t as described. Oh well they seemed like good speakers. I’ll be happier with the kickers any how.

I did look at that and it was good… maybe the angle of the pic was off? I’ll check again too…. Can’t be too carful especially with brakes.

Installing the tweeters soon as the mail man gets here. Everything is prepped one thing I haven’t seen anyone do is applying electrical grease on the speaker connectors. That is a must.

Nice. I'm about to install those. Can I just use some flat stock instead of the 4WP logo piece?

I don’t see why not. I will say the overall finish on all the pieces is really nice though.

Do you have any rubbing on the lower outside corners of the grille surround and the bumper? After the last trip off road I noticed on my truck the grille surround is rubbing on a small gusset on the bumper there.
