ive seen threads on towing, never really read into them, but how is pulling it? my parents are looking at a similar sized trailer and ive been mulling over if i would want to take it out with my tacoma. maybe i should just stick to taking my dad's tundra?

Scrapped my old AC unit a few months ago...lots of $teel, copper, and aluminum. It's funny, I tore it all apart and placed it in my truck for my son-in-law to take to scrap yard as I tried and was rejected since I didn't have an A/C license. Lots of theft these days and the yard wouldn't take it from me. Anyways, so my son-in-law took it back out of my truck and placed it in his AC work vehicle just in case they hassled him as well. Overall, we got about $150 for it all. If I would have known he would swap vehicles, I wouldn't have scratched my box up...lol.

No problems towing it, but the truck is heavily modified/accessorized with towing mirrors, Airbags, Weight Reducing Hitch, Trailer Sway Bar, Hammer Hangers, MRA Shocks, Load Range E tires, 4:88 gearing, KD Max tune. I'm sure a stock Tacoma can handle it, but these accessories make it better.

Had to get it home. 20’ long on the 16’ trailer. Did fine until the wind kicked up. Taco got moved around a couple times when that happened.

I built this for that purpose a couple weeks ago. Haven't used it yet though.

Did this the other day with the Taco. Not really heavy, just awkward to lift alone.

I like your engineered solution - When I need to load my tank ... I just use anger, harsh language and old man strength. You are clearly working smarter!

You must be used to a full size. No way you drove a civic or prius with a comment like that!

Well I inherited my wife's Honda Accord when she for a new vehicle because VW paid me for my diesel gate Jetta. Mostly that it's not a heavy payload but a lot easier to move it in a pickup vs garbage bags stuffed in a car/hatchback.

I'd like to think I lucked out if it meant getting the exact Tacoma I wanted in the long run!

Forgot my phone at the house. Wish I had taken a few photos today.

In the spring we had a pretty big flood in the area. The river that runs though my property is pretty jammed up with trees and what not. There were a few nice old-growth cedar timbers jammed in there too. 12x8 and about 14ft long.

Bashed the truck through some bushes, went down with some straps, and pulled the timbers straight up the 30ft high river bank with the truck.

I'll let them dry until spring and then resaw them.
