It's possible those 4 bolts won't come out cause they're the length of the motor and there are captive nuts on the inside of the front face (alot of smaller 120v motors do that to keep all the pieces together) rhey could be seized in the stator due to corrosion

I would attempt to spin the motor slowly by hand and see if you can feel or hear the click in one particular spot. If you can, then it's most likely the fan and I'd say fuck it. If not, or if it feels kinda grindy then it's probably a bearing on the rotor starting to fail

Feels like it's really grinding; resistance (and noise) coming from the back.

Bearing shown spins freely, nothing up top is making any noise.

HR just sent me an email with some corny Halloween zombie stock image she pulled of Google, covered with watermarkings, and wants me to make a poster sized print of it for the company Halloween party.

we don't have the ability to print anything bigger than Tabloid size at work and the image is low-res with watermarking all over it lol.

I'm gonna sit on this for a bit before replying. Like jesus christ at least buy the actual image for me to work with, how cheap are you guys.

if they tell me to just do what I can, I'm going to print it on a 5x7 inch cardstock with the watermarking and mount it to a 4 foot matte board

    Pleaaaaaase do this, that's hilarious.

Or draw one yourself, citing "we don't have the commercial rights to reproduce the provided image HOWEVER, I took the initiative to provide a royalty-free rendition of my own manufacture."

That's the output side you're holding correct? Yea if you're feeling resistance with it like that it's the bearing on the backside. You'll wanna pull the whole rotor, most often it's a different sized bearing but they might be the same front and back since it's a cheap chinesium motor

    That would be perfect.
I was going to say email her along the lines of, "Okay will do, just send me the file or a download link after you purchase it," and let her figure it out lol
