Thanks. I’m glad too. This injury was from 7 years ago and I was just too stubborn to get it fixed. I’m ready to get back to running every day.

I just got back from NC! You coulda told me so I didn't have to drive so far!

 

We had a fancy espresso machine in my last office. The Plant Manager and Controller DEMANDED we have the foofy one that cost like no joke $6000 made in Italy. Then proceeded to make plain black Mr. Coffee level coffee in it using the gross Gardena, CA water. Obv it scaled up and broke, then required $2000 to fix and a shipment back to Italy for the repair.

Naturally, they insisted on fixing it instead of buying approx 100 regular coffee machines to replace it

 

I actually beat it on my best run, but I clipped the edge of a cone due to understeer and got a 2 second penalty. There was probably another full second and a half In the truck if I had put together a perfect run.

 

That is an $800 coffee maker!!! The big branch has deep pockets -- or small brains -- or both.

 

That is some clever work right there!

 

New toys!

 

Very good at cleaning chips off large parts. We used them in my last shop on our Mazak Vortex 1400 to clean off the 8' long parts we made out there. The machine had a 2 pallet interchange system. Those pallets were like 14' or 15' long. Coulda parked a car on it.

 

Stink bugs and assassin bugs have been showing up lately round here.

 

You couldn't make something so good for so cheap!

 

Don't be stupid and push it (like I would), do what the Dr says and heal well.

 

Turns out if you put out a fire in the McDonald's parking lot, they'll give you a free lunch! Somebody tossed a lit smoke into their much/grass by the parking lot and there was probably 5-10 feet of it that was smoldering/smoking

 

They probably set their meal on fire and threw it in there

 

Worked like a buffalo chip.


There are much better options out there.

 

I'm guessing you put the fire out? Good on you for doing that
