Yeah, was coming out of the bank next door and saw it smoking pretty well. Went inside the Golden Arches and asked for a mop bucket full of water so I could put it out. :bananadead:

Bilstein 6112 front / 5100 rear (extended) shocks, Headstrong AAL, Firestone airbags, 4.88 gears, OME Carrier bearing drop kit, Aluminum 1/4" skids (engine to transfer). Custom sliders (1.75" HREW tube w/ 3/16" base plates). Custom front bumper and high clearance rear bumper (1/4" steel plate, 1.75" tube.) Apex 5500 winch w/synthetic line (36lbs) and required accessories for an underpowered winch (snatch blocks and extra line.) Tekonsha P3 brake controller, remote start, any-time-backup camera w/ front facing camera, Leer 100R shell (w/e-track single slot tie-down mounts for removable Yakima EasyTop.) Cat shields by CaliRaised. Husky liners, window tint, heated seat (passenger only.) Relentless bed rail brackets with QuickFists (shovel/axe/fire extinguisher.) Hondo Garage Un-holey vent mount. Anytime rear with front facing camera. Billet front seat risers. Viair 88p. 265/75r16 Goodyear Ultra-terrain tires.

Nice! They're aren't cheap but worth it for the right task.

I'm guessing they've got a bit lighter since this tank I've been using on some overhead beams (MFer must be every bit of 75lbs).

Funny I give the person credit He had no clue I have been doing Tacoma repairs for 25 years.

Yes it is bad but not so as to just scrap the truck. Maybe doing some jumps for distant might cause some carnage.

The first one I did when I crawled under was laugh. See if you see what most every one else does not see.

I am more fearful of a unknown LBJ failure.

I will no doubt be sore tomorrow .

Pretty sure that you don't need to plumb it in - it works better if you do, but you don't have to. Pouring a pot full of water into that door should work just fine, BUT... you will have to wait while the machine warms it up. The hot water on demand comes out of the same reservoir.

I am pretty much anti McD, I feel they coast on their reputation and catchy advertising.

That said, one day I decided I wanted a Fillet-O-Fish. I pulled up to the silly "any line any time" double lane time waster with no prices visible...

Ordered just the fish -- over $5!

Payed the apathetic girl at window #1, pull ahead to #2 -- "could you please pull ahead, we will bring it out"... :(

ALMOST 15 minutes later another apathetic girl lumbers out.
WTH did they do, go and catch the fish...

I'm in the same boat. But I will say the free meal was hot as hell; they gave me fresh fries and everything

Several years ago my wife had shot a deer in the evening, I put it on the back of the trailer since we had the 4 wheeler with us. I was hungry so we went through the McD's drive thru, guy ask me if I could pull up and wait. I said sure thing. I pulled up just enough so they could look at the deer :anonymous:

I sympathize with getting some shiatty take-out (and with the guy above that just had surgery!)

Imo McD's has been doing better the last handful of years.. or at least a couple of the locations near me aren't doing drastically shaittier jobs like many others.

Hell even the Chik-fil-a has been slipping which is still a few rungs above any other drive thru joint imo.

We've lost a couple mom & pop type ol' school diner joints here lately so I need to be smarter about prepping at home.

With all of Rotten Ronnie's price increases, I find that I can eat at MUCH better places for the same, or even less money. The whole 'fast' concept has escaped them, and on the very rare occasions I do darken their door, it takes forever to actually get served and get my [what passes for] food.

Not too much lighter. She'll still be a real b*tch while shoulder presssing into an overhead position.

Sounds about right, one would think they would have invested in an RO system to prevent that in the future.

Yes, they've got a new office manager who is trying to assert his "rule" over the branch and making changes to "improve" things. His boss (who is also mine) was none too pleased about the purchase but the damage was already done.

I'm so jealous of people that don't have salt and rust as the two main ingredients of their vehicle. I was within .001" of cutting the ebrake cable. It's pretty common that they seize in the caliper. :annoyed:

My youngest bought a 2023 Veloster turbo on the weekend, so now I'm helping him fix his Mazda 3 so he can sell it.

Note the lack of dust shield. It, itself is now dust. :rofl:IMG_20221011_133639.jpg IMG_20221011_143149.jpg
