OH! Those are sliders! You're good. I wouldn't drop down on them from 4 feet up, but for blues in AOAA and bouncing off of trees, they're good.

My skid doesn't come off at the moment :spy: busted one of the welded nuts that holds it in place. That became a future-Rob problem and I put the other bolts back in.

My skid plate is so banged up and bent that the back two holes don't line up anymore to put a bolt through them

I need to drop my sliders in the spring to clean and respray. That's a worry of mine.

It's a concept I call Schrodinger's trail damage. Never investigate beyond "it still moves fine" on the trail. Funny noise? For the time being, it exists in a state of broken and operational. Once you observe the broken, you will not risk riding on it for the rest of the trip. Same with sliders/skids/etc. They exist in both a state of fitment and "WTF this doesn't line up" at the same time. Once you disturb the force, you are never fitting that back on again.

Never investigate on the trail

I'll have a fire griddle and one for my big stove. I'll also bring a large cast iron pot if we need soup.

Drill the frame a little bigger and use a 3"x3/16 bolt

I apply this to my body as well. If you just ignore it, it's not a problem!

Joint injuries are the same way. It's just a little tweak, I'll ice it and be fine; until the MRI comes back with a broken bone and 90% tear.

So this is for RI not PA, but this made me laugh. Must have gotten a new english major to write the weather reports. My engineer mind was like "Sun."

Someone will. The group sites are something like 15 people max. And as mentioned, as long as we aren't being dinks at 2AM or something, if we play loosey goosey by one or two trucks somewhere, not going to be the end of the world.

I think we'll have room but TBD.

mkay; well if anyone can confirm; I'd appreciate it. kind of a long trip for me. I can pick up and bring some stuff too, or chip in the rental fee etc. Just camping and observing the trains; a grand research trip :pccoffee:. Excited to join in and see what folks have done with their taco's.

I'm at site 146 with some other people, we'll have space. It is back-to-back with the TW group site through "woods", so we should be basically one big happy family. The downside is, the guy who booked it might be out of commission (girlfriend, who is the one with the Tacoma, he owns a jeep :D , has 'rona). "upside" is that was going to be a full size + gooseneck to stash there, that won't be there unless she's mended in time. I'll be getting there around 6ish PM with @AllTacosFloat , maybe a bit later if we have Patient O with us.
