Nope, currently slated for Falcon Heavy. Was originally supposed to go on SLS, but that ain’t happening schedule-wise.

Oh, maybe it will get switched to Starship if it's scheduled for 2 years from now. :fingerscrossed:

They also said the valve was stuck partway open.
“The agency hedged its success bets, however, noting the risks of this procedure alone were "significant" and that more tweaks might be needed to stop the partially open thruster valve from interfering again with CAPSTONE's position in space.”

I took that to mean it was due to the bad
command referenced later…. An ambiguous article like so many these days…

My brother is on site and just sent me a couple videos of the stack.

I was somewhat shocked how fast choppy pick ‘em up and set ‘em down.

I thought it was time lapse until I noticed the Yankee game broadcasting on his truck radio.

Chopsticks and Starship QD arm but when will they add a crew gantry above the QD arm? I’m guessing once they finalize the crewed versions so they know at what elevation to mount it. Starbase 1 may never get one I suppose.

Not until they've mastered landings. There will likely be 50+ starlink launches/landings before they even consider crew hardware. To put any of it in now just wastes money if and when one crashes/Ruds into the tower. I'm curious how the tower will handle it, and all the hardware in the tower. I doubt we'll know, because it's looking more and more like they're going to catch the first ones at sea.

I was assuming that to be the case. I’m just curious how it will mount. I’m guessing just like the QD arm but nearer the top so they would both swing clockwise out of the way at launch.

Which gets to orbit first, Starship or Vulcan?
