I know alot of truck owners do this, but this GMC has dual rear wheels a large rear end, but they leave the hitch in the reciever. If some dummy is going to rear end a truck. They still will if there's a hitch there or not.

Block the ramp and egress in and out of the building too.

I’d give him a pass if he took 2 next to each other because it’s a dually and there’s still spots available, but 4? Come on man…

have you ever tried to park a full-size double cab long bed (8' bed) dually? i guarantee the truck doesn't fit length wise or width-wise in even 2 spaces.

I don’t think this guy realized that there’s no parking space there and he’s making it hard for two cars to pass each other, plus all the available spots just a few feet away

Just enough to look kinda cool.
I have a photo posted somewhere a while back of my 5500 tow truck backed into a single space. It’s not that hard to park a dually especially with today’s smattering of parking aids (cameras 360*, sensors, hell some even park themselves). A large truck is not an excuse. I had a f750 flatbed that I could tow full size dually’s on the bed and I could still keep it within 1 space width.

    edit: found the post

OK, I guess you have a point. it also depends on the size of the spaces. Lately i've been seeing some spaces that my tacoma only has about 6" on either side to the line.

but i will say that you picked the end space, to hug the side and fit it in. would you park in the middle of the row, with cars/trucks parking on both sides of you?

Yeah, I was going to say that parking this way allows him to only take up 4 spots instead of 6.

I usually did, it was my lunch spot so it was always packed with one maybe two spots available. And the guy in the original post had the whole parking lot to get lined up…
