I somehow ate shit HARD while playing soccer with the kiddo a year ago. I got a little competitive and face planted on the pavement in front of the house. I didn’t even have a choice to be candy assed, the wife hauled me to the 4runner and took me to the ER like now. Just had a sprained hand, but I was like, man, I can’t ever get hurt in front of the wife again!!

I completely agree. I also didn't want the folks parked on the other side of the fence to get some impromptu outdoor heating.

So, I'm quite late to quote this, but nonetheless...

This is my first Fall at the new house. I'm surrounded by farms and fields. The amount of stink bugs here is appalling to say the least. We'd get some at the old place up the mountain, but it's downright ridiculous. "Perks" of living in farm country I guess :annoyed:

I was in the process of removing a bearing off a roller last Thursday which I was backed up against a railing. Got up without thinking about it and slammed into the railing. Knocked the wind out of me. I'd share a pic of the nasty cut and bruise, but my butt would have to be in the picture and nobody needs to see that around here

Ehhh, I don't really mind them too much. They've been confined to the garage at the moment. They can hang out with the termites!

It was too nice out today to do any real work and I've had a hankerin' to get the old Lincoln AC 225 fired up and use the torches.

So I threw together this grapple to pull dead branches down with. It is about 14" long and made of 1/2" re-bar.

The 6011 rod I have can't be much more than 15 years old, or so.. surely not more than 20...

Disclaimer: I don't really "weld" with this, just teaching myself as I go.

I’ve been thinking about making some videos of carving pumpkins in the CNC mill. I know NYC CNC did it a few years ago and it was a hot!!!!

A few years ago I was in Lake Charles commissioning a Mega Project(+$14billion). There where 7 thousand construction workers on site at the peak of the project and just one small FRC clothing store near the site that had like 6 different options for shirts. So everyone had the same mix of clothing. I thought it would be comical to take a pictures with my coworkers every time we where matching and then make a collage of it at the end of the project.
