New (ish) member

Hello all. Name is Robert. Currently in a 2019 DCOR with 16,500 miles. Traded in my 2016 2 Dr. Rubicon hard rock with 46k on the odometer for this truck. Tried the Jeep thing ( now it burns when I pee), but was less than impressed with vehicle quality. Leaking radiator, abs sensors going out, steering angle alarms, etc.
Have had numerous Toyotas over the years, from a ‘71 hilux as a first truck, 1980 shortbed on 38.5’s, dual cases, propane, 5.29’s, etc. 1985 4Runner on 31’s, a 1965 FJ40 on 35’s, Two Tundras, a 1st Gen taco double cab. You get the picture.
I’m an old bastard anymore. 51 this year. Picked up the Gen 3 about a month ago. Love the looks. Motor is underpowered, but all except the tundras have been. Won’t post much, but read a ton. Glad to be here.
The muddling of tech posts here with noob shit is aggravating. I’m used to the old school Pirate 4x4, where that stuff was not tolerated at all. I swear I’ll try my best not to flame anyone for stupid shit, but no promises.
There seems to be a ton of knowledgeable peeps on here. Hope they aren’t as jaded as me.

Edit: When I mean old school Pirate, I’m talking early 2000’s. I’m sure some on here will understand where I’m coming from.
