A loaded SE 6-speed retails for exactly $24K; I'm sure I can find a dealer somewhere in the country willing to sell me one at sticker.

On another note, who do you think my cutest zombie huntress is? They range in age from 24 to 62, and with the exception of the girl at the at Dairy Queen cruise night, all of them are friends of mine.

 

Anna looked like she had the most fun.

 

She had the most fun, but she only put on the mask as a favor to me; I certainly think she is the cutest, but who do you like? Gwyn and my anonymous pink-haired friend are closest to you in age...

I still can't believe Anna put the mask all the way on, as she hates masks. Whether it's for COVID or a zombie-themed photo shoot, she hates wearing masks, and she vowed never to wear one again after today...

 

That was nice of her to deal with the mask to make you happy for the pics! I liked your buddy Gwyn too, glad to see that she played along and had some fun.

Anna kept apologizing to me because she thought she was being "difficult to work with", but she was an absolute sweetheart. Anna's mom saw the pictures and was amazed that I got her to wear the mask.

 

Gwyn's boyfriend also got in on the fun. Also, fuck stealership markup; I will put a new engine in that truck before I buy a used car for more than a new car. The truck itself is solid, aside from the interior being a bit worn.

 

If I was ordering a new vehicle I'd endeavor to get it without a head unit or speakers..for that reason, been doing it since I was about 18-19.

It seems like other motorists are starting to get angry when an accident almost occurs as a result of their stupidity. Yesterday, I was driving to get gas at BJ's before I picked up Anna, and I realized that I needed to be in the far right lane. The driver of a 2010-2013ish Honda Pilot had initially been about to make a right from the shoulder, then decided they wanted to go straight. We ended up getting into the right lane at the same time, and they blasted their horn.

Okay. Whatever.

I didn't see you. It was an accident.

Shit happens.

I just ignored them.

I got into the right turn lane for BJ's and the driver of the Pilot started beeping again. They clearly wanted me to give them them some sort of response, so I responded with one finger out the window as they passed me...

 

Shit happens. I'm on a bike far more miles per year than in my truck and I get that stuff all the time.

I try hard to not react to situations like that anymore. You just never know what kind of day that person might be having so I try not to add to it with that in mind.

 

Can't agree more. I was flipped off by a woman the other day for only going 5mph over the speed limit. People have short tempers lately, no patience, no forgiveness.
