Same here. 5'9". Girlfriends 5'2". I got my Nfabs mostly to keep rocks, chips, ice, and snow off the rockers. But I find I use them now every single time I get in and out of the truck.
Is that what were calling taking something off your truck now...a "delete mod"?

Installed LED interior lights (not pictured) and one (1) Rough Country neoprene seat cover. The lights were easy other than the plate lights, which I might switch back to halogens anyway because they overpower the backup camera. The seat cover, however, is a different story. It came with zero instructions and YouTube was only marginally helpful. Wound up unbolting the seat itself and the seat front trim to get the cover jammed in behind it and to get the clips together under the seat, took about 3 hours for one cover. To be fair, I'm not an interior guy and I'm always scared to break something, but it was definitely a pain. The other seats should be easier though, no electric controls to get around on the passenger side, and the rear covers are two-piece to accommodate the seat storage. Turned out looking good though, looks more like and OEM seat than a cover.

LED interior, license plate, and fog lights. More to come.
My wife and I are about the same height as you guys are. We both found these steps just something to step over on a stock height truck. Neither of us are spring chickens, I'm 50 but it's not the years it's the miles. ;)

Picked it up from the truck hospital.
New front bumper, valence, plate bracket, collision absorber thing and other related stuff. Good job on the color match. All OEM replacement parts. Like new again.
