Mehhhh... not going to disagree, but at least if people stick to factional for imperial then it's easy to differentiate at a glance from metric.

To me it depends.
Architectural drawings and floor plans. Yes, should be in fractions.
Engineering drawings and toleranced drawings should be in decimal.

Technically no. Had a pellet rifle I had left at my parent's house after I moved out. My Dad had been using it recently to plink off little critters here and there. Earlier this year we had a family get together and my Dad, a couple of my cousins and myself were BSing in the garage. I found the pellet rifle and was looking it over, when POP! Unbeknown to me my Dad kept it loaded ready to go. Put a nice dent in my red Radio Flyer hanging on the wall and ricocheted off who knows where. This was right after the Alec Baldwin fiasco, so jokes were had. My Dad said, "Oh sorry, I thought I left the safety on." I said, "You mean the one I turned off?"

 

I mightve posted a pic of this one before, I just marvel at it really. A clean room electric powered forklift with explosion proof(EX) features such as spark resistant brass covered forks.

Even the wheels get cleanroom booties. This is the facility where I fueled the Orion capsule and we are setting them up for a job to change some relief valves in their hazardous commodity system. So supplied breathing air is necessary.

 

Gotta admit... never seen a forklift with brass forks before!

 

All I know is I'm stealing the cones on the tips of the forks idea. Gonna really mess with the co-workers on that

 

Not the same thing but I went to get some metal corners for the greenhouse im building and the metal place was well organized. Funny thing for me was seeing the guy on forklift smoking a cigarette. Im used to seeing people smoke in designated areas, but driving a forklift inside was new one.
