    Nope. Autocad files. There is a backup file but it autosaves over it's self periodically.
    I think what happened is that while I was working on it he opened it on his computer. Should have been a read only for him at that point. And when he shut down his computer for the weekend it would have popped up with a warning about do you want to save a copy of this read only file. He then had to deliberately save over the main file that I had updated and overridden that version with the outdated version he had opened earlier in the day.
    Unfortunately I cant. he does need access to the files occasionally. Just can't freaking get him to understand that has got to stay out unless he absolutely has to be in there. He's like a bull in a China shop and doesn't think anything of it.
    no. Everything is on a central server since multiple people need access to the same files throughout the day.

    I think I'd find a way to "Save As" a copy of what you did each day on your HD, just for your own protection. I might also try to make the files truly shared files so that multiple people can be editing the file at the same time.

    Good afternoon everybody.

    Had an early vet visit for another glucose check on my dog this morning and just slowed down. Vet visit went well, we have the pup's insulin dose stabilized and his blood glucose has been good for 3 months now. Vet said no more regular checks needed now, keep checking his urine ketone a couple of times a week and call if they go up.

    Just got back to like the Good Mornings. got stuck training a new guy. hired off the street straight as an operator. seem like a good ole boy good guy. never ran factory equipment. said he was to train 2 weeks. that will never happen.training from the ground floor up. and i was right,he will be trained as long as it takes.into mid December for sure.

They start on this coming Monday, management is in panic mode,typical. The project should take 18 months, retirement is looking better and better.
