brotha it’s so hard to convey wheeling in a picture. This is “The Wall” on Poughkeepsie in Colorado. The picture I previously posted is wheeling in Colorado. It is one of the very tight off camber switchbacks on Blackbear pass, with the 37” tire very stuffed and full lock. I don’t have tubbed inner wells. I do see tubbing being needed for anything larger than 38s. My only point is this setup is miles better than any other ifs stuff I’ve done… I’ve always had ifs, come to think about it. I personally think much of the “complaints” are splitting hairs. No disrespect to any of these smart posters here. It’s an extremely impressive suspension specifically targeted at rocks. I personally feel miles more comfortable running this setup than any other setup if had 30 miles in to the mountains with big obstacles. Stock Tacoma rack is $450, L200 is $478. Ultimately running IFS or solid axle at different levels are always goi g to have weak points. Hydro breaks, racks will break. I only know of two people that have broken this rack, one of which is mentioned here. I am going to rock this setup and make necessary modifications and it upgrades as needed. I’m sure this “kit” will have revisions. Those of us thought bought and installed it know we will have carnage at some point. I just sent my Tacoma up a highly modified jeep/basic buggy line at the Gulches ORV and then drive it home 1.5 hours.

I think he was wanting to see something more difficult that aligns with the usecase of RCLT

I don't know. My rack seems fine. I installed the Howe kit with a new pump, new lines, cooler, and reservoir with a filter. I am hoping the filter keeps my rack alive. I am also hoping the modified high pressure bushings can handle the 1,500 psi pump. If it blows I will need to replace the entire rack and LEAVE the stock bushing, and simply screw in a 16mm to AN adapter for the high pressure line.

I understand, that’s kinda why I prefaced it with angles are hard to see in photos. “The Wall” at Poughkeepsie has a 4’ ledge you have to climb.
The first photo shows a bunch of stuffed tire at full lock. ‍

Have you felt a difference with throw or speed of turning lock to lock?

I'll update you on that. Truck is still on jack stands doing the final system bleed.

Been down The Wall (was coming from California Pass), but not up it. Did watch somebody come close to flipping their JK trying to climb it, though. Nice.

Definitely not the easiest spot to get an impressive-looking angle of in a photo or video.

It’s definitely deceiving in pictures. I had to help save an FJ and a JK while there. Both nearly flipped, the FJ was tooo close.

Yep - I'm not surprised that gave you issues. I saw this in the instructions and swapped the line out with one with the proper fitting on the end to match up to the LC200 input. I'm sorry this happened to ya.

Is this something that can be done with my current rack in place? We are just talking about a line, correct? Have part #s

I think navigating down black bear pass with 37’s and no tubbing says something. I know I couldn’t do that.

    edit: left off the bear!

i was honestly worried about it, I hadn’t been on anything tight previously with this setup. Lots of flexy tight corners.

The hardest part of black bear pass is avoiding the 20 car traffic jams...I'll have to find the pic I took from Imogene.

Its easy when your suspension limits uptravel and you dont rub on 37s.

Compared to stock suspension where you have to reform the entire fenderwell or limit travel to 7 inches
    This still rubbed.

Maybe I’m a puss but I did not enjoy that drive and I did it in a jeep with 35’s and fully turning radius.

How dare you not follow the manufacturer’s instructions to the T. The nerve you have to question perfection. Lawyer up buddy boy!
