I’m glad you posted that, I need to fix my Dad’s drill press handle that’s stripped out. He’s wanting to use epoxy or JB Weld, I’m wanting to do it right!

 

Those thread inserts are awesome, especially for aluminum

 

Marta is the name of the company I spoke to. They seem to be the only ones here in the US that makes those.

My one and only time deer hunting, I was in a tree stand and I wasn't too familiar with the shotgun I was using. I couldn't remember which way the button flipped was safe, and the red ring was worn off.

So, I thought, "Ok, point it in a safe direction, and slightly pull on the trigger to feel if it's going to move or not. I must have just pulled on the trigger enough to let the sear move. It bucked and I about dropped it. Needless to say, my 14 year old self was scared straight.
