I’m a big fan of these Nobl wheels. Carbon wheels with i9 hubs for $1500 plus a discount if you’re a imba member is hard to beat

Unfortunately, this weekend is not going to have any riding.. All work no play, because I have a wedding taking up a few hours of it.

What's up with your one-up? Might need service. And some air. Take the collar off and add grease for a quick fix.

    +1 for outbound lighting.

I just have their big evo light on my bars since I already had one for the helmet and it's great. Solid battery life and great light output. Definitely worth the money. I used to CC points to purchase them too so it was a bit cheaper that way too

It wasn’t extending all the way. I have a feeling it needs air but I just put air in a couple weeks ago. I was also wondering if the cable and housing aren’t up against the actuator or whatever it’s called. I’m probably going to take the seatpost out and take a look some time this week

ah. yes. take the saddle off and pump it up a little bit. oneup's manual says 250 for "Slow" and 300 for "Fast".

also look at their service manual and take the collar off to add in a little bit of grease, that'll help the seatpost go back all the way up. i had the same experience. just did the grease and it was smooth and fast again.

yeah I will have to add air...it's so annoying taking the seat off haha. It was just odd because sometimes it would go all the way up and other times it wouldn't. Like id be pedaling and be like...my seat feels low. it probably is the grease.

The weirdest thing is that I've only been riding this bike for like a month...I never had to do this much service to the oneup on my other bike which is why I think something else is off. I guess it does already have 1/4 of the miles my stache has on it so that could be it haha.

One other possibility is that the seat collar clamp is too tight...

I had similar issues with my Gen 1 Oneup dropper. I cleaned and lubed it regularly beneath the collar. I also replaced the bushings. However, after a few rides, it would act up again. I finally got a new cartridge via warranty but before I could put it on, I was able to get a Reverb AXS. I sold the Oneup after the Reverb proved reliable (a lot more reliable than the first generation Reverb I had).

man those 1st gen reverb posts were so bad.
I had one and it developed a little vertical play in the post and it didn't work for shit in the cold, but I didn't get it serviced because everyone I talked to said they were a nightmare to work on and I would be better off buying a new dropper.

Just passed it onto the next guy when I sold the bike.

my 3rd gen reverb is slow in the cold. i think its the fluid in the line to dropper, not the dropper itself. i can turn the knob to faster, and it gets faster. pretty sure that knob just adds more pressure to the line.

I decided to sell mine after it got stuck down at the bottom of a downhill and I had a 2k feet climb to get back to the truck. Fixed it and then sold it.

I'll check that too. I'm probably just gonna take it all apart and service it and see how it goes.

I have gloss ride wrap coming for it, I'm hoping that compliments that super dark red. The color is awesome. I was going to buy the Sworks frame but really liked the color of this one better. Rear shock is arguably not quite as good but, for how I ride, this is still a huge step up from my current bike.

You can easily add a low speed compression adjustment knob to that Performance FloatX. PN: 808-17-470-KIT

I don't know why Specialized gimps them but it's literally the same shock with a cover over where that knob would be. Kashima otherwise is literally just bling.
