Saw these wheels on Facebook marketplace a couple days back.
    upload_2022-10-13_9-22-17.jpg
Pretty long drive (Ellison Bay) but I had the day off yesterday so I figured a road trip was in order. Glad I went because not only was it a fair deal on some nice wheels, but the area is super nice. From the little exploring I did I will definitely be going back. Not the best pictures I've ever taken but figured they were still worth posting. Also the videos do not do the power of the waves justice. The rock underneath my feet was literally tremoring and it sounded like a giant subwoofer.

Always the last one to the party. I've had a full set from Farm and Fleet for a solid year. Only had to replace the driver's side due to my svelte physique. But also because I ripped a seam trying to re-adjust an already tight fit. The small MOLLE section in the back of the front seat covers is really useful. They always put them on sale at Farm and Fleet so keep an eye out.

In the process of shopping for an aftermarket rear bumper and can't decide on a swingout-style or not. Since I only plan to go up to 33's and I don't plan to wheel it like a madman because it's my DD, I wonder if it's really worth it to gain clearance just for the spare tire. On the other hand, I could definitely see the utility in carrying water jugs and a propane tank externally to free up room inside.

Any thoughts from the Wisconsin gang? For those of you with swingouts how big of a deal do you think it is? For those of you who relocated your spare from under the bed to somewhere else (swingout, bed, rack), how much has this helped you for clearance on obstacles and what not?

Currently leaning towards a style like the C4 Overland rear bumper (this one) but none of them fit my desires 100%. Up for suggestions. One big requirement is that I want a hidden hitch receiver since I don't tow much and I feel moving that upwards will give the most clearance benefit right away.

I've enjoyed mine from @At The Helm - good to work with, great quality, and I liked the hidden hitch as well.

I disliked my swingout with the tire. Blocked to much of my rear view. My current swing out has water and propane, but also allows for the back up camera to work. My tire is in its fourth relocate up on top of the rack-It's a bear to get up and down but is my favorite location to date. Check with @Super4Lo... he knows why under the back doesn't work anymore with a high clearance bumper... tire hits and gets damage. My bumper is a Coastal Offroad and I am very pleased.

Dragging the spare made for a softer decent and only left a little rubber on that rock lol.

Thanks, I had them on a previous short-list of bumpers that I like (and truth be told I prefer their design to C4) but I removed it due to no hidden hitch option. I took another look and it does seem they offer that option but it's not really well advertised. They also have swingouts on the 3rd gen but not 2nd gen page but looks like it can be adapted. I'll likely go with this one, thanks for bringing it up!

Good to know thanks, kind of what I expected to hear. I forgot about mounting mine up-top on the rack and I will have a shell rack soon. Maybe I'll run it in the stock location for daily driving, and once I get to camp/trails move it up top for the most clearance. That's a problem for the future though but a good mental exercise.

Also good to know LOL. I don't plan on wheeling as hard as you so maybe won't be a problem.

I'm also in the spare tire dilemma. As you mentioned I think I'm going to keep it in the stock location for daily duty as well (at least until the move to 35's). For off road trips I think I'm going to design a new bed rack a little higher then my current and incorporate the stock style spare tire carrier (the chain hoist) on the underside. Then I can just lift up the tire using the hoist and keep the bed open for gear.

If you're thinking of mounting your tire on top of your shell make sure you don't exceed the manufacturers dynamic weight rating. Factor in all weight, rack, tire, and any other accessories.

You know..... @RCI-Offroad makes a killer rear bumper.... With a hidden hitch .... AND there's a sale going on.... :D

I really dig mine. Holds the truck well when I get into precarious situations, also tows well. Like, really well.

33 spare will still fit under the bed. Or in the back, where mine currently lives (haven't gotten a Baja chase rack..... Yet....)

Roger on the dynamic weight rating. If I go that route I'll keep it in mind. My setup is pretty lightweight so I should be fine.

Wow very nice! Looks nice and secluded by oddly familiar...where is that?

I love my RCI skids and that RCI bumper was on my list but not my favorite styling/design. No doubt it would be a good option but I prefer the look of the ATH over the RCI and the C4.

Interesting thanks. Not the one I was expecting but is in the same Eagle River area. Some beautiful spots up there, usually can't go wrong. Lots of hiking trails in that area too.

I saw a few snowflakes flying this morning all the way down in Kenosha so it's no surprise to see some up there. Looks nice in photos but still way way too early to be seeing it. Reminds me to get the snowblower tuned up this weekend...
