Something needs to happen and quick. A lot of talk. Alot of planning but not a lot of action yet. Although I am excited about this "suicide mission" they are going to try and pull off.

It’s a slow, slow, build, and the characters are developing very well. Even the Imperial characters are well written, which is critical.

    It’s Star Wars…but different. It’s a spy thriller. It’s a heist show. It’s political. It’s interpersonal. It’s got incredible promise.

If Rogue One is any indication, it’s gonna have one HELL of a payoff.

Well, it's from Tony Gilroy( he's the writer & creator of the series) . And Gilroy is apparently the guy they called in to finish filming Rogue One many years back.

Gilroy loves to have the slow build, check his other films like "Michael Clayton."

I suspect that we're watching a slow motion train wreck. And once the dominoes begin to fall, we're going to love it like Rogue One.

And, as far as a "suicide mission," the only people we've met so far that we know survive to Rogue One are Andor & Mon Mothma. Everyone else is in damger of ending up on the chopping block

Also, they've said that this series is going to be 12 episodes(for season 1) and definitely a season 2 which will lead directly into Rogue One.

So, in a sense, even Andor's days are numbered.

I’m loving any of the scenes with the Tie Fighters. Like just the little fly over or even the “suiting up” in episode 6 at the end ah man gets me excited for the TopGun inspired StarWars movie. I know it’s been delayed but not cancelled yet :fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed::fingerscrossed:

    Same here.
Literally just finished. Was telling a buddy of mine, "if they keep up like this, I'm going to enjoy this show more than Mando."

I'm enjoying the production value of Andor. The story/character(s) have zero interest to me. I think it's a terrible Star Wars show, but a good television show. I have not been hyped to rewatch a single episode yet, like I did with every single Mandalorian episode. I don't need to see the bumbling attempts at random rebellion cells attempt at "getting one over" on unimportant outstations.

The actors are great, but there's barely enough "star wars" for me. I wish Kenobi had that production team, as the show is visually stunning, but this part of the story has been told, I'm ready for something else

    I don’t think he’s going to do it, especially since it’s 5 BBY…

I will admit, episode #8 was pretty good. The prison scenes were amazing. The thousand yard stare, lost, looking for any kind of freedom, haunting. Definitely wasn't expecting Saw to show up, Forrest Whitaker did amazing as always

Making TIE fighter panels with slave labor? It’s like the Empire is bad or something…

    not enough.
Is that what they were making? looks small to be TIE panels. My immediate thought was death star parts but the empire already is using slave labor to build the machine...

It was a 6-pointed assembly, making it logically seem like it was the panel's hub where it would attach to the fuselage nacelle.
